How We Replace Siding

Setting Up Our Equipment

The project manager will meet with the Homeowner to review the job. We provide a tarped perimeter around your home to catch debris. We protect your yard, plants, and lawn furniture by moving or covering. We advise you to remove all loose items from shelves and walls as hammering may create a vibration that could shake things off the wall or shelves. We provide a permit that we are required to post on the exterior of your home. We provide a debris dumpster for the removal of construction materials. We protect your driveway by placing boards under the dumpster.

The Removal of Old Siding

Pristine Restoration will remove all necessary siding. We inspect the sheathing and replace it as needed. We take pictures of any wood that we replace. Fixtures are removed and set aside to be reinstalled later. If new you provide new fixtures, we will replace the old ones. All related debris is disposed of in the delivered dumpster.

New Siding Installation

We use VSI Certified installers. Pristine Restoration applies house wrap or Styrofoam insulation that follows State and City codes. We apply tape around all doors, windows, and seams in the house wrap. Mounting plates are installed for fixtures, and new vents are installed for exhausts. New siding is installed over the contracted area using premium quality products. Siding and trim are caulked as needed.

Cleaning Up After Ourselves

We dispose of all related debris in the provided dumpster. We will leave the extra siding panels with the homeowner. Any outdoor furniture or other items we moved we will place next to the home.

Inspection of Work

We will notify the city, and an inspector will inspect and sign the card. After we complete the job, a final inspection is done by the Project Manager with the Homeowner to ensure the homeowner's satisfaction.
